Last 28th March we went for a shopping trip to a hypermart in Ipoh with Sara. She really loves it, being able to lay back in the special shopping cart that can fit in babies and such.. Shasha even had this small cart that she shoves around the mart.. filling it up with all the stuffs as much as she could

Here are some picts I’ve taken when I wuz in ‘mabuk skyline’ state of mind back in 2007… back then, I didn’t have the budget so after the visit I made it my mission to learn as much as I could about the icon… but now just when I thought I could order one… reality slapped me… gotta go for my PhD… in Aussie I believe… crud… 
My wife’s uncle owns this imported car dealership… there sits my baby… here are some of the photos I’ve taken during the visit… but now I think she’s taken… 
But not before I took her out for a spin

Finally, after a long week in KL (and a nasty 3 days of fever) I’d able to get my hands on the IELTS result. It was unbelievable! It was my 1st attempt and I’d managed to get Band 8! How cool is that? I guess I could’ve done better in the reading and writing section if I’d enough time to practise… but hey… a Band 8 is good enough for me!

Right now my life is in an intersection. I got a steady income, my debts all all settled (except for the house of course), I have extra income and just when I thought I could enjoy and spend it on the things I love…. bang! reality strikes! I had to go for my PhD
I guess my dreams shall be that way for the next 3 years or so… This is so unfair but I guess its the best for my future. I hope I won’t be too old to enjoy that beautiful sportscar I always wanted…

A couple of weeks ago the ‘old lady’ broke down again. Ironically its at the same place as before in Simpang Pulai. It was really a hot day, luckily there are some eateries there that my family and I can cool down a bit. Later, I opened the air intake to the carburetor and put in some gas before trying to start it. It didn’t. I know the air is in, the fuel is in so I guessed somehow the spark was missing. I checked the spark plug but all was in order.
So, I had the car towed to my usual workshop, Nie Auto in Ipoh. Luckily its for free because of my insurance auto assist coverage… it usually will cost a good RM100 out of your wallet! (God bless them insurance guys for once). To cut things short, the next day I came in and asked them what wrong. The cable that supply power to the spark plug had simply come off, thats all. Just my luck… a loose cable! Un (freakin’) believeable! In a way I was also glad, coz I don’t have to fork out cash for some more repair works on the car.

Just completed my IELTS test last Saturday (29/3/08). The reading part was tougher that I’d expected and for the writing part, I guess I need a bit more practise to be able to keep the ideas flow smoothly. I did the writing and the listening exercise and got 95% and 100% respectively. Now, I’m not even sure I’d get an 80% Whatever the result will be, I hope I’d get something like a band 7.5… a band 8 would be like pushing it a bit. Hmm… guess have to wait till this 11th April to know the results…
